Passion Project Process: ♥ Angelic ♥

"Angelic" is a piece I am working on that, as of right now, there isn't a set reason why I did/ am doing what I did/ am doing. Something that was in the back of my mind as to a reason why I decided on 11 panels of two people was for a love story type of ordeal. The 11 panels would display a love story between a boy and a girl but this love story is very innocent. I did not have anything other in mind but some sweet, flowy panels consisting of light and muted colors. I think I am drawn to a love story because I've always been fond of sweet romances and how when you look at a piece of art about love, you just need to get a certain feeling in your bones and you can tell it is a love that doesn't have to be physical. That is what I am going for at least.

A little fun with paint to see if I liked the direction that I intended on following with my digital piece.

The materials that I intend on using are Photoshop and acrylic paint (These paints and tones will be in muted pastels). But nothing is set in stone.

My concerns for this project is how I am going to convey a paint like texture in digital form and how I will blend the colors together. I am going to talk to my teacher for some tips on how to get this paint texture and by using wide brushes on Photoshop.
